Fish Temperade
Ingredients:
• 1 cup Assorted Shellfish
• 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
• 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
• 1 cup Grated Coconut
• 2 Large Onions
• 3 Dried Red Chillies
• 3 tbsp Tamarind pulp
• 1 tsp Sugar
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 6 Flakes Garlic
• Small piece of Ginger
• 1 tbsp Oil
• Salt to taste
• A little amount of water
Preparation:
• Heat oil in
a pan and seethe the cumin seeds, chillies and coriander till
they splutter.
• Grind coconut, garlic, onion and ginger to make fine
paste.
• Seethe this paste in oil.
• Add little water and fry for a minute.
• Add turmeric powder, tamarind pulp, sugar and salt.
• Now add the fish and cook it till sauce gets
thickened.
Fish Temperade is ready to serve.
